Todas las mañanas del mundo

El argumento trata la relación entre Marin Marais (1656-1728), violagambista y compositor de la corte francesa de Luis XIV, y el que fuera su maestro, el Señor de Sainte-Colombe, un personaje enigmático del que sabemos poco, apenas algunas líneas de referencia en documentos de la época.

El instrumento que aparece es una viola de gamba. Es interpretado por Jordi Savall.

Improvisación sobre la folía.



En la película podemos ver en esta escena cómo era la dirección orquestal barroca, en este caso en manos de Lully, a quien interpreta Gérard Depardieu.

The music is written by Jean-Baptiste Lully (1632-1687).

Thomas Morley es uno de los más importantes representantes de la Escuela madrigalista inglesa.

Actuación de los Seises de la Catedral de Sevilla en el día de la Inmaculada, por lo que usan ropa de color celeste.





Luys de Milán (a.1500 - d.1561): Pavana y Gallarda

Luis de Milán (antes de 1500 - después de 1561), fué un compositor y vihuelista español del Renacimiento. Es conocido por ser el primer compositor que publicó música para vihuela, y uno de los primeros en dar instrucciones para marcar el tempo en la música.

Milán publicó tres obras a lo largo de su vida, todas ellas en Valencia. De ellas sólo la segunda contiene música:
* Libro de Motes de damas y cavalleros, intitulado El juego de mandar , en 1535.
* El Maestro (1536).
* El Cortesano, en 1561. Inspirado en la obra del mismo nombre de Baltasar de Castiglione. Aporta detalles valiosos sobre la vida cotidiana en la corte de Valencia y sobre la propia práctica musical de Milán.


El Maestro: "Libro de música de vihuela de mano intitulado El Maestro", también conocido simplemente como El Maestro, es un libro de piezas para vihuela sola y vihuela y canto, publicado en 1536, en Valencia.

Miguel de Fuenllana (1500 - 1579): Música para vihuela

Miguel de Fuenllana (Madrid, 1500 - Valladolid, 1579), vihuelista y compositor español del Renacimiento.
Ciego de nacimiento, es autor del "Libro de música para vihuela intitulado Orphénica Lyra", (Sevilla, 1554), también conocido simplemente por "Orphénica Lyra", dedicado a Felipe II. Se trata de un libro de música para vihuela, y que constituye la mayor colección de música para ése instrumento, de todas las existentes.
